In the next room is a boss fight where you have to defeat a swarm of beetles then a tough armored beetle. 🚀īacktrack to Main Plaza and this time, go through the southwest door. Your first Missile Expansion can be found in Ruined Gallery by shooting a Missile at the wall use your Scan Visor to see exactly where. Go forward to collect the Missile Launcher then blast the door in front of you with a Missile to collect your first Energy Tank! The first boss after the tutorial is a bird robot and its wasp army Chozo Ruins: Morph Ball Keep on killing the war wasps and chip away at the Hive Mecha and it will eventually go down. Occasionally, the Hive Mecha will reveal a bright red light, meaning you should attack it. Keep attacking the war wasps as they circle around you. Continue through the northwest door and in the first room (Ruined Nursery), go into the save room to the west then continue moving north and follow the path until you reach a huge room containing the Hive Mecha boss. 🎵 Samus lands on a strange planet and the player initially knows nothing about it Chozo Ruins: Missile Launcherįrom the elevator, walk through the corridor to reach the Main Plaza. Meanwhile, some very familiar music plays if you've ever played the original Metroid. 💥 Samus and Ridley make a getaway for Tallon IV Tallon Overworld First Visitįrom your spaceship, walk 2 rooms west then 2 rooms north and you should easily find the elevator to Chozo Ruins. Proceed forward to your gunship then fly away as the frigate explodes. Her suit will undergo a physical transformation as well. After a short Ridley cameo, grapple over the gap with ZL and a couple rooms later, Samus will smack against the wall and her suit will malfunction and she will lose many useful abilities. There are swarms of insects but they only deal one damage so just ignore them. Keep on moving forward, scan those blue computers as you see them, and destroy any enemies you see with Missiles. After you defeat the Parasite Queen, you need to find an escape route. Attack the Parasite Queen's mouth while you can avoid its attacks easily by strafing left and right. You must scan her to identify her weak spot before you start dealing any damage. If you aren't able to move forward, it's likely that you forgot to scan something or there's a nearby Morph Ball slot where you may need to drop a Bomb. There are also a few injured Space Pirates that die after a few shots. There are some turrets that attack you but they die easily to Missiles. You can also use your Morph Ball to enter small tunnels. Use your Scan Visor to inspect the glowing blue computers as you come across them. You can now journey into the freighter and it's a linear area where you can get familiar with the gameplay. 2 of the buttons are high in the air so you must look up to see them.
In the next area, first scan the computer with your Scan Visor and then shoot the 6 green buttons. Start by shooting the 4 green buttons to open the energy door.
As you go around the world scanning things, you'll notice that certain materials can only be destroyed by specific weapons: Brinstone with Missiles, Sandstone with Morph Ball Bombs, Cordite with Super Missiles, and Bendezium with Power Bombs.I'll mention specific rooms by name here so go to the map screen and the room name is displayed at the top you can't miss it! 🗺️.Start by going into the options menu and choosing a control scheme that you're comfortable with.
